  Configure Netscape Mail to Filter Spam-marked Messages

  1. Create a folder and give it a name, for instance, "Spam".
  2. In the"Tools" menu, select "Message Filters".
 
  3. The "Message Filters" window appears. Click "New".
 
  4. The "Filter Rules" window appears. In this window choose "Subject" and "is" from the drop-down menus and enter " *****SPAM***** in the text field.
Then define the action to perform: "Move to folder" and choose the Spam folder.
 
  5. Click "OK" to start using the defined filter.
  6. If you want to stop receiving email from a specific sender, choose "Sender" from the left drop-down menu, choose "is" from the right dropdown menu and input the mail address you want to block.
  7. Click "OK" to enable the filter.
  8. All the messages with the subject "*****SPAM*****" will automatically be received in this folder and you can check later if all of them are spam and delete them.
