How to configure Outlook Express to filter messages or senders?
  1. You can do this in 2 ways: using the "Tools" menu or the "Message" menu (on the top menu of Outllook).
On the
"Tools" menu, select "Message Rules" --> "Mail".

  2. On the "Message Rules" window, click "New".

  3. The "New Mail Rule" window appears. In this window you can define the "Conditions" for the rule - specific email addresses, subject line, specific words on the message body, etc. - and the Actions - move it to a specified folder, delete it, etc.

  4. Click "OK" to start using the defined filter.
  5. If you want to stop receiving email from a specific sender, choose "Blocked Senders List..." from the "Message Rules" menu. Click "Add" to input the email address you want to block.

  6. Click "OK".

  Using the Message Menu:
  1. Select the message you want to use to set up the filter or block the sender.
  2. Go to the Message Menu and select "Create Rule From Message...' or "Block Sender...".

  3. Follow the same steps as described for the "Tools" menu.
