Follow-up on Unstable WiFi Network Issue in MengTak Building

Regarding unstable WiFi network connection reported in MengTak Building, after our investigation and consulting the suppliers, it is likely caused by the defects in the original WiFi network design. CSC conducted a pilot-test in the 1st and 5th floors based on the solution suggested by the supplier, and so far the result is satisfactory. If the solution can solve the captioned issue, the improvement works will be enforced in other floors, after purchasing network components. It is expected to be completed in April this year.

明德樓無線網絡不穩定問題的跟進

 

關於明德樓無線網絡出現不穩定或不能連線的情況,經本中心檢測並諮詢供應商的意見後,初步判斷是原設計方案存在缺憾。資訊中心首先在一樓及五樓測試供應商提供的改善方案,至現時為止效果滿意。若測試順利,其餘樓層待購置網絡部件後將進行改善工程,預計本年四月份可以完成。
