Replacement of Staff Email System and Service Interruption Notice


Computer Service Centre has scheduled to migrate the staff email server to a new system this weekend (Sat & Sun). The new email system will provide greater email storage space (2GB per user) and a new Webmail user interface. Since all staff mails will be migrated to the new system, all email services will be suspended during this period. Users will not be able to read mail or to compose message. New messages will be received in the new system after the migration.

Service Interruption
Oct. 16 (Sat.) 12am to Oct. 18 (Mon.) 8am
Reminder: The following settings will not be migrated to the new system, user must reconfigure these settings in the new system:
  - Email forwarding
  - Vacation auto-reply
  - e-mail address book in Webmail
